Central OBC, EWS & SC/ST Certificate Validity Rules
OBC-NCL Validity
Must be issued on or after 1st April 2026. It should specifically mention "Non-Creamy Layer". Old certificates are invalid for current year admission.
EWS Validity
Valid for ONE financial year only. Must be issued for the year 2026-27 based on income of 2025-26.
Gap Certificate Format for NEET 2026
If you passed Class 12 before 2026, you are a "Dropper". You need a Gap Affidavit on ₹100 Stamp Paper.
Content: "I [Name] declare that I have not joined any other course during the period [Year] to [Year] and was preparing for NEET." (Must be Notarized).
