The MBBS admission process in India is centralized, transparent, and strictly merit-based. Understanding the chronological order of events is crucial to ensure you don't miss any deadlines.

Quick Process Overview:
Phase 1: Exam
NTA Application, Admit Card, NEET UG Exam.
Phase 2: Counselling
Registration, Choice Filling, Seat Locking.
Phase 3: Admission
Result, Document Verification, Joining.
NEET UG Application Process

Step 1: NEET UG Application & Examination

1. Online Registration (Jan - Feb 2026)

Candidates must fill the application form on the official NTA website. Ensure your personal details match your Class 10th certificate exactly. Upload clear photos and signatures.

2. Admit Card & Exam (May 2026)

Download the admit card. The exam is Pen & Paper based (Offline), consisting of 200 questions (180 to attempt) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

3. Result & Rank Card (June 2026)

NTA declares the result and All India Rank (AIR). Note: Qualifying NEET is just the eligibility; actual admission depends on your Rank.
